Ashtanga Primary Series Practice *SPECIAL CLASS*

While not in the Kundalini tradition, several people in the group have been asking about whether other types of yoga could be offered to help expand your practice – so here’s an opportunity for you! 🙂

Essencia Yoga in Wheaton has invited me to teach an intro class over the next few weeks to the Ashtanga yoga practice, and I would love for you to join me!

The Ashtanga Primary Series is a classical Hatha yoga practice involving a set sequence of interesting postures in a vigorous, stimulating flow. Traditionally known as “Yoga Chikitsa,” often translated as yoga therapy, this class will engage you in deep breathing, intense focus, and a cleansing sweat. A challenging experience and a wide variety of yoga postures that will strengthen you, increase your flexibility and endurance, and take you to a new level of wellness in mind, body, and spirit. Modifications and advancements are available for all levels. Tap into lots of fresh energy, detoxify, and take on a fun physical challenge! Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes for practicing yoga asana (postures).
